Let’s talk about how Bakugou literally compared Kirishima’s unwavering stand to All Might’s final battle against AfO.
Can we even begin to imagine what that must have meant for Kirishima? The strongest boy in his class, who has pretty much become the embodiment of what manliness means him, comparing his power to that of the Number One hero?
Oh yeah, we actually know what it meant to him: a whole fucking lot, enough to become his strength in a moment of hesitation.

Remember that one scene in the hunter exam arc of hxh where Kurapika and Leorio encounter Hisoka and both run away from him but then Leorio circles back around and tries to fight him (and gets punched in the face and knocked out for his effort)? Similar energy to the part in Heroes where Ando goes off and tries to kill Sylar on his own
